About Error Analysis, Inc.

Former federal research scientest, H. Harvey Cohen, formed Error Analysis, Inc. in 1988 to further human factors practice in the business, industry, and legal settings.  Dr. Cohen sought to fill a need for scientists with capabilities in the behavioral and engineering sciences that could analyze and describe the complex nature of accident causation.  Today, Error Analysis investigates human error (designed-induced and otherwise) and generates preventative safety-related solutions using human factors and ergonomics methodologies.

Since its founding, Error Analysis has provided scientific advisory and research services to organizations throughout the world, including North America, Europe, and the Middle East.  Error Analysis consultants have assisted clients in developing safety solutions from the boardroom to the shop floor.  In litigation-related matters, attorneys have retained Error Analysis consultants on thousands of occasions to investigate the means and prevention of human error in cases involving premises, products, as well as transportation, recreational, and occupational issues.
